![]() In a recording spectrasonics will sound better. What is the best VST piano to use on a live setting Keyscape. Today I want to review and share my thoughts about Spectrasonics Keyscape which is one of my favorite piano VST now. How much joy did you feel after buying your first DAW software or VST plugin. same goes for the rolnd V-piano sounds as its essentially the same technollogy. Currently, I use more than 20 piano VSTs and let me share you one by one. Pianoteq is about realisme and feel when playing an acoustic piano. spectrasonics is about adapting and creating a sound. on top of that the digital piano's of spectrasonics are what makes the package even more formidable. however, where it shines is the power to adapt the sound. doesnt give the feeling however of pianoteq. The C7 of spectrasonics sounds exactly like the Orriginal. We're not scaremongering This is really happening, happening. Spectrasonics also makes Omnisphere, which is a super popular library for synths. The LA Custom C7 is out of this world and the electric pianos are authentic and punchy. because of how the sound reacts to your actions. Keyscape looks and sounds very good but at the same time the size of their library samples intimidates me compared to the Pianoteq VST which doesn't use samples and that makes the VST less heavy. Keyscape is easily the most diverse piano library that is currently available, and it’s massive both in CPU and samples. For all of the other instruments I like to play, Pianoteq has me covered. Even if you have a go-to hardware or software piano instrument or library, Pianoteq is worth a look and listen it sounds that good. It is also modeled, and it is crazy good. Pianoteq, with its lean CPU requirements, stunning sound, and near-infinite editing capabilities is a breath of fresh air. I will take your advice though, and abstain even if I hit the jackpot. however, playing it feels more realistic then any sampled piano. Keyscape is pretty expensive, but I've seen some amazing demos of their electric pianos. Pianoteq is not an exact replica of an excisting instrument. I think I read something to the effect that Pianoteq has 127 layers of velocity. How do you compare the two? I've been playing the demo version of Pianoteq, and it is such a fun instrument to play as it responds to all my midi contgrollers so well. No the question is do you want it? I guess not, but thats a guess, you only can answer that for yourself.īachus, I know that you play Pianoteq. Thats a question anyone can only answer for himself. atleast not when we dont own a recording studio. and yet i only mapped keyboards with which i could be happy. I created a list of ten basic things i want to see in my perfect keyboard.Īs you can see. ![]() To make my PA4x the perfect key that sattisfies my needs, all that needs to be done is add an 88 key weighted (about 85 grams) high quallity keybed with aftertouch. There is a difference between need and want. Its amazing what can be done with pro studio mixing in these videos.Īs for some reason it will never sound like that at home.
